HIWA Builders is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and driven Events Coordinator to lead our growing community outreach and event marketing efforts throughout the North State and Northern California. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding a fast-growing company while building valuable relationships within the communities we serve.
As our Events Coordinator, you'll will be the face of HIWA Builders at home shows, trade shows, county fairs, community events, festivals, chamber functions, and other marketing event opportunities. You'll have the freedom to identify new opportunities, create successful event strategies, build teams, and directly contribute to the company's growth.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a combination of event planning, marketing, networking, leadership, and community involvement. Every week brings new opportunities, new people, and new challenges.
Responsibilities
As our Events Coordinator, you will:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage home shows, trade shows, community events, and marketing events.
- Research and secure new event opportunities that help grow brand awareness and generate qualified customer leads
- Build and manage a yearly event calendar that keeps our company visible and active throughout the region.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and lead event representatives and brand ambassadors.
- Coordinate all event logistics including displays, promotional materials, transportation, setup, and breakdown.
- Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and annual event calendars.
- Track event performance, lead generation, and return on investment.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure qualified appointments are generated.
- Develop relationships with event organizers, chambers of commerce, community leaders, business organizations, and local partners.
- Maintain event inventory, displays, and promotional equipment.
- Monitor event budgets and expenses.
- Recommend improvements to increase lead generation and event success.
Qualifications
- Experience coordinating events, marketing campaigns, promotions, or community outreach preferred.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Comfortable speaking with customers and representing the company at public events.
- Proficient with Google Workspace.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and transport event materials as needed.
- Weekend availability is required.

Pay
Pay will depend on experience. The yearly pay with hourly rate and performance based bonus structre will range from $75k to $100k.
Work Schedule
Wednesday though Sunday, with regular days off on Monday and Tuesday.
