Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Front Office Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental practice. In this pivotal role, you will be the friendly face and efficient coordinator at the front desk, ensuring a seamless experience for patients from check-in to check-out. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will help foster a welcoming environment while managing administrative tasks with precision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of a dedicated healthcare team committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Duties

Greet patients warmly, verify their appointment details, and update patient records.
Schedule appointments efficiently, manage patient flow, and coordinate with clinical staff to optimize daily operations
Handle patient inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and care, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
Collect payments, process medical billing, and perform medical collection activities in compliance with HIPAA regulations..
Support administrative functions such as filing, data entry with 10-key typing skills, and preparing reports using Microsoft Office tools

Requirements

Proven experience in a medical office setting or dental clinic environment with strong clerical and administrative skills.
Knowledge of Dental Insurance
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic health records management
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and data entry
Understanding of clinical confidentiality policies and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA
Previous experience working at the front desk of a dental or medical office is highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding patient service, manage phone communication professionally, and support medical office operations
