We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC/R Supervisor to lead our heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration teams. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems across commercial and industrial facilities. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and safety compliance. As a supervisor, you will coordinate service technicians, manage projects from start to finish, and uphold the highest standards of customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive technical excellence while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate HVAC/R service technicians in daily operations, ensuring timely completion of maintenance, repairs, and installations.
Oversee HVAC system installation projects, including reading schematics, designing system layouts, and ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards.
Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex HVAC systems including refrigeration units, boilers, air conditioning systems, and building automation systems.
Perform mechanical systems repair and maintenance on equipment such as pumps, fans, compressors, and mechanical controls.
Review schematics and technical drawings to accurately diagnose problems and implement effective solutions for HVAC/R equipment.
Ensure all work complies with EPA regulations for refrigerant handling and environmental safety standards.
Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, equipment repairs, maintenance schedules, and safety inspections.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about system issues, repair timelines, and recommended upgrades or improvements.

Qualifications

Proven construction experience with a strong background in HVAC/R systems installation and repair.
Service technician experience with hands-on knowledge of HVAC system troubleshooting and maintenance.
Proficiency in reading schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans.
Mechanical knowledge of refrigeration systems, boilers, air conditioning units, plumbing systems, electrical diagnostics, and building automation controls.
Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, multimeters, ohmmeters, and specialized diagnostic equipment.
Experience with electrical systems repair including wiring diagrams and electrical diagnostics.
Valid C-20 (HVAC) contractor license
Valid C-38 refrigeration license
Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications are a plus.
Ability to operate equipment repair tools safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
