Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk to join our dealership team. In this vital role, you will manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. The ideal candidate will possess previous dealership experience, strong accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Responsibilities

Process and verify vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
Prepare and process check, ACH, and credit card payments.
Maintain manufacturer parts and service payable accounts.
Generate customer statements and post payments
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts.
Maintain accurate financial records and filing sytems
Assist with month-end closing, account reconciliations and reporting.
Respond professionally to vendor and customer inquires
Support the accounting team with additional administrative and accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience, automotive dealership accounting experience, preferred.
Experience with dealership management systems, Reynolds & Reynolds a plus.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft office.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
