<Job Overview>
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Cook/Kitchen Lead to join our culinary team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing delicious meals, leading kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, has strong culinary skills, and enjoys guiding a team to deliver top-notch service in a lively environment.

<Duties>

Prepare and cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency.
Lead kitchen staff by overseeing food preparation, ensuring efficient workflow during busy hours.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
Assist in menu planning and develop new recipes that meet quality standards.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food as needed.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff or dietary aides to improve skills and ensure smooth operations.

<Requirements>

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within the food industry or restaurant settings.
Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling practices, and sanitation protocols.
Ability to plan menus, manage kitchen operations, and work efficiently under pressure.
