Join our dynamic team as a part-time 2nd or 3rd Shift Barista, Donut Decorator, and Counter Associate! Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and specialty drinks with precision and flair using POS systems such as Square POS.
- Decorate donuts and baked goods to meet quality standards while maintaining cleanliness and food safety protocols.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently at the counter using POS systems.
- Manage food preparation tasks including assembling food items, maintaining product freshness, and adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, perform retail math calculations for change and sales reporting, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
- Support team members during busy hours by assisting with serving customers and ensuring a smooth café operation.
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in food service roles with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Excellent customer service abilities to create welcoming environments and address customer needs promptly.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and basic math for sales transactions.
- Ability to work independently on the 2nd/3rd shift schedule while collaborating effectively with team members.
- Experience in retail math, cashiering, serving, or café environments is highly desirable.
