Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our legal team. In this dynamic role, you will support attorneys by conducting legal research, assisting with litigation discovery, managing legal documentation, and ensuring procedural compliance. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various facets of legal work while contributing to the efficient operation of our legal services. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and eager to develop their expertise in law practice management and litigation processes.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and legal analysis
Assist with litigation discovery, including document review, organization, and production
Manage and track contracts and legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
Support attorneys in drafting legal writing such as memos, briefs, and correspondence
Help coordinate procedural law tasks to ensure adherence to court deadlines and filing requirements
Collaborate with legal teams on managing case files, schedules, and communication logs
Provide administrative support related to case management and procedural workflows

Skills

Strong knowledge of procedural law and litigation processes
Proven experience in contract management within legal services or related fields
Excellent legal writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise documents
Ability to manage legal teams or coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills for handling complex case files
Proficiency in legal research tools and document review platforms
Effective communication skills for collaborating with attorneys and clients
