Full Job Description

Are you an experienced, passionate pioneer in technology who wants to work in a collaborative environment? As an experienced Mainframe Developer,you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily development, maintenance, and support of the mainframe health claims applications.
Develop, test, and deploy code changes for claims processing systems based on technical specifications.
Monitor daily batch jobs and resolve ABENDs within defined SLA timelines.
Assist in unit and integration testing of new healthcare compliance updates.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and runbooks for the Operate team.

Qualifications

Required

4+ years of experience in software, systems, or embedded engineering
4+ years of experience in Mainframe application development (COBOL, JCL, DB2).
Experience with incident and change management processes (e.g., ServiceNow).
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $74,900.00-$147,600.00.
