What You’ll Actually Do

This role is part security presence, part customer service pro, part problem-solver.

You’ll:

Be the go-to contact for residents, visitors, donors, and staff
Keep the building secure while making people feel welcome
Control access points and ensure only authorized individuals enter
Monitor activity across the facility and respond to concerns
Use cameras and alerts to stay one step ahead of issues
Step in to de-escalate high-stress situations calmly and respectfully
Handle front desk duties like calls, logs, and documentation
Support donation intake and day-to-day shelter operations

✅ The Basics

Full-time | 40 hours/week
Monday – Friday 2nd Shift
High school diploma required (Associate’s preferred)
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass background check and screening
