From luxury custom showers to sleek glass walls, railings, and storefronts, we specialize in delivering exceptional craftsmanship with an eye for detail and precision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in territory management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging with clients, conducting product demonstrations, and driving sales through various channels. As a sales representative at Gatsby Glass, you will be responsible for selling glass, metal framework and hardware products and installation services to commercial and residential owners in your territory. As a rep, you will help build the client list, sales revenue and back the company on standards, quality, and professionalism. A successful sales rep will have creative lead-generating techniques and the drive to exceed sales goals. You will use your strong communication and selling skills to present innovative solutions to prospective customers.

We are seeking a Home Services Consultant — someone who is personable, professional, and highly consultative — to serve as the first impression of our brand. This is not a typical sales role. You’ll be invited into the homes and offices of prospective clients to listen, advise, and help guide them through custom glass solutions that fit their aesthetic and functional needs.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, nurturing referral networks, and representing a premium brand with integrity and expertise.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-home or on-site consultations with prospective clients to assess their needs and provide expert recommendations.
Serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate product options, design considerations, and installation expectations.
Develop and maintain a strong network of referral sources, including designers, remodelers, real estate professionals, and contractors.
Attend industry events, networking groups, and community functions to promote our services.
Collaborate closely with our project managers and installation teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Track client interactions and follow up diligently to guide prospects through the decision-making process.

Requirements

Proven experience in outside sales or a similar role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Strong skills in territory management and the ability to identify new business opportunities.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Naturally consultative approach — you ask great questions, listen well, and offer thoughtful solutions.
Experience in home services, design, or custom product sales is a plus.
Proven ability to network and build long-term professional relationships.
Comfortable visiting job sites and homes throughout the region.
Self-starter with strong follow-up and time management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A customer-centric approach with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
Must have a strong work ethic.
Must be detail oriented.
Monitor and review all work orders to ensure customer expectations are met.
Maintain constant communication between all departments on current work orders.
Relationship building, networking, cold calling, canvasing, and meeting with prospective clients when needed
