The Custody FX & Orders team sits within Custody Operations and supports both foreign exchange (FX) and investment order processing activities. The team acts as a critical link between client instructions and trade execution, ensuring all requests are reviewed, validated, and accurately processed before being sent for final execution.
On a day-to-day basis, the team:
Reviews and processes client-submitted trade requests for mutual funds, equities, and foreign currency
Performs dual-control validation (input + secondary verification) to ensure accuracy and mitigate risk
Supports both pre-execution activities (orders team) and post-execution processing for FX transactions
Partners with internal teams and occasionally communicates directly with clients (primarily via email)
This is a high-risk, high-accuracy environment where attention to detail and control processes are critical.
Basic Qualifications
- Two years or more of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn custody operational functions, systems (Trust 3000, SWP, Xceptor, GTX), procedures, various products and/or services, for assigned area(s)
- Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines in a dynamic work environment
- Exhibits analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Exhibits customer relation skills, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of regulatory and accounting principles which directly affect Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking business lines and clients
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, preferably Excel
Location Expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $60,435.00 - $71,100.00
