Job Overview
The Director of Human Resources provides strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of human resources operations across Christian Village Communities at our Mt. Healthy location. This role serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, managers, and employees while advancing a positive workplace culture aligned with our mission and values.
The ideal candidate is an experienced HR leader who brings strong knowledge of employee relations, compliance, talent strategy, and organizational development. This individual will have the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational goals, employee engagement, retention, and workforce development.
- Partner with executive leadership and department leaders to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead talent acquisition strategies, including sourcing, recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
- Supervise the Administrative Front Desk team, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service for employees, residents, families, and visitors.
- Manage employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, OSHA, ADA, EEO, wage and hour requirements, and other HR-related regulations.
- Oversee benefits administration, payroll processes, HRIS systems, and related HR operations.
- Develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and processes to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Support leadership development, succession planning, employee engagement initiatives, and organizational growth.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior-level HR leadership role with demonstrated success leading HR initiatives.
- Experience in healthcare, senior living, long-term care, or a regulated environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor practices, HR compliance, and risk management.
- Experience managing employee relations, investigations, performance management, and workplace culture initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic HR plans while managing day-to-day operations.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
