Full Job Description

The Ownership Group of Several Hilton Brand Hotels is seeking a Revenue Driven, Guest Satisfaction Guaranteed, Dedicated, Team Leading Certified Hilton General Manager for New & Existing Hilton Brand Hotels within Ohio and Northern Kentucky Area.

Qualified Candidate must have a MINIMUM of 2+ years Hilton Hotel Brand AGM and/or GM Certification to be considered

Existing Certified Hilton Hotel Brand General Manager preferred but willing to invest in necessary training for the right candidate.

Must have existing Pep and Hilton Certifications considered for higher pay scale. When sending Resume, please include References.

Job Description

The ideal candidate for Hilton Brand General Manager is required to continually focus on achieving hotel profitability through revenue, occupancy, cost control, guest satisfaction and the development of employees to advance within the company. The Candidate chosen will be expected to maintain the integrity of the hotel brand following all brand guidelines; adhere to the mission statement of the Ownership group and work constructively with the VP of Operations and Corporate Office.

Managing Property Operations and Department Budgets

Ensure service programs are in place and executed against (e.g., Hilton Honors).
Provide timely, real-time feedback to management and hourly associates on service and operational standards; including feedback on even the smallest of service and operational details.
Review and follow-up on property Qualtics and Social Media performance scores and comments.
Create and support clear lines of responsibility for departmental teams, including coverage and support throughout the day.
Walk the property to ensure public spaces, grounds, work and kitchen areas meet sanitation and cleanliness/maintenance standards.
Manage the flow of labor between departments to support effective management of Labor Budget and achievement of profitability goals.
Prepare for QA audits (i.e., daily and pre-visit activities)
Work with the VP of Operations and Owners to insure the success of the hotel.

Managing and Sustaining Sales and Marketing Strategy

Interact with in-house guests to prospect for new sources of business.
Work with Market Sales to establish property sales strategy, extended stay occupancy targets, sales goals, and action plans.
Understand and leverage sales and marketing advantages over competitor properties within market.
Managing Profitability
Monitor and forecast future and length of stay rate tiers to inform revenue management and profitability strategy.
Manage on-property controllable costs associated with rooms, housekeeping, events, and food and beverage operations.
Initiate action to support property revenue and profitability goals.
Maintaining Revenue Management Goals, assisting in rate shops
Manage the relationship with the revenue management office and participate in routine calls, strategy meetings, periodic update meetings, etc. with Owners and Corporate Officers.
Balance inventory to ensure same-day sellouts and future demand, control LOS patterns and put in place restrictions for high demand dates to maximize revenue. Managing Relationships with Owners and Corporate Officers
Keep owners and corporate officers updated on property performance in the areas of financials, guest satisfaction, and associate engagement.
Prepare and present reports for owners using financial/performance data, balancing and turning in daily.
Participate in owner conference calls and respond appropriately to owner and VP of Operations requests

Managing and Conducting Human Resource activities

Conduct performance review process for associates (career plan form, development plans, associate information form, mid-year check-ins, 90-day check-ins for new associates, etc.).
Understand the performance expectations for all positions within the property (e.g. front desk associate, breakfast hostess and night auditors)
Facilitate cross training to support associate professional growth and operational excellence.
Complete management training and continue to train
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate is one who has prior Hilton Hotels General Management Experience with a minimum of 3-4 years in an AGM or GM position that holds current Hilton Training Certifications. Candidates without Hilton Brand Hotel GM Certifications will be considered if experienced in other brands. Must have Valid Driver’s License, Flexible Schedule, clean Background Check and subject to Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
This location is utilizing the PeP Property Management System

Candidate must be able to perform the following:

Lift up to 50lbs (example case of bottled water, case of a food item)
Able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours in any department
Able to walk hotel exterior for visual inspections daily
Ability to use a search engine
Available for shifts coverage when necessary or needed
Train accurately and efficiently for any department
Perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction and finding percentages
Communicates effectively and efficiently with Staff, Dept Heads, VPO and Owners
Has a minimum of 2 years Pep (Property Engagement Platform) experience
Without the above qualifications, candidates will not be considered.
