Role Description
The Live Sports Data Analyst is a contract, on-site at games role based in the Cincinatti, OH area. In this position, the individual will attend live sporting events or designated venues to capture real-time game data, including plays, statistics, and contextual information, using company tools and applications. Responsibilities include monitoring game flow, entering data with high accuracy and speed, verifying entries against established standards, and reporting any anomalies or technical issues to the operations team. The role also involves collaborating with data engineers and analysts to improve data collection processes, participating in training sessions to refine methods, and following strict quality and timing protocols. This position may require evening and weekend work aligned with live sports schedules.
Qualifications
- Strong Data Collection skills with attention to detail and accuracy in fast-paced, real-time environments.
- Analytical Skills to interpret game situations, validate data, and recognize patterns or inconsistencies.
- Clear Communication skills to coordinate with team members, report issues, and follow operational guidelines.
- Experience with Training and Research to learn new tools quickly, apply standardized methods, and contribute to process improvements.
- Knowledge of major sports (rules, terminology, game flow) and enthusiasm for live sporting events.
- Comfort with technology, including mobile apps, data entry interfaces, and basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to work on-site in the Cincinnati Area, including evenings and weekends as available.
- Previous experience in sports statistics, live event operations, or a related data-focused field is beneficial; relevant education in fields such as sports management, statistics, or computer science is a plus.
Pay
We pay a base of $200 per NFL game, plus up to $200 bonus, and $100 per MLB game, plus up to $200 bonus.
Pay: $75.00 - $150.00 per hour
