Title Processor – Real Estate Title & Closing

Join a growing title company where accuracy, communication, and exceptional service matter.

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Title Processor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the title and closing process, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in helping transactions move smoothly from contract to closing.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple files and deadlines at the same time. You will work closely with closers, real estate agents, lenders, buyers, sellers, underwriters, and other transaction partners to identify and resolve title issues and keep files moving toward a successful closing.

We are looking for someone who doesn't simply process paperwork—we want a team member who takes ownership of their files, communicates proactively, and provides outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

Process residential real estate transactions from contract through closing.
Review purchase agreements, title searches, commitments, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Examine title information and identify liens, judgments, mortgages, easements, encumbrances, ownership discrepancies, and other potential title issues.
Work to clear title requirements and resolve issues prior to closing.
Order and review necessary searches, payoffs, lien information, HOA documentation, surveys, municipal information, and other transaction-related items.
Prepare and maintain accurate title and closing documentation.
Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, underwriters, and internal team members.
Communicate proactively regarding file status, outstanding requirements, deadlines, and potential issues.
Maintain organized and accurate electronic transaction files.
Monitor critical dates and ensure files remain on schedule for closing.
Follow company procedures, underwriting guidelines, and applicable state and federal requirements.
Assist closers and other team members as needed to ensure an exceptional closing experience.
Provide responsive, professional, and friendly customer service throughout every transaction.

What We're Looking For

Previous title processing, title insurance, escrow, or real estate closing experience strongly preferred.
Understanding of the residential real estate transaction and title clearance process.
Experience reviewing title commitments, liens, judgments, mortgages, and other title matters.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple active transactions and competing deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable communicating directly with real estate agents, lenders, clients, and other professionals.
Ability to identify problems and take initiative to find solutions.
Strong computer skills and ability to learn title production and transaction management software.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
