Front of House Supervisor

Bellawood Farm is as unique as it comes. We have 82 acres in Canal Winchester on which we host a full-service scratch-kitchen restaurant and bar, a wood-fired pizza oven, bakery, butcher shop, outdoor beer garden, event venue, and more! Come join our amazing team!

We are looking for a Front of House (FOH) Manager. This person will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the customer-facing areas of the restaurant, wood-fired pizza oven, and beer garden. They ensure smooth service, excellent customer service, and efficient staff performance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Staff Management:

Supervising and coordinating the work of front-of-house staff, including hosts, servers, bartenders, and other customer-facing employees.

· Customer Service:

Ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for guests, addressing any issues or complaints, and maintaining high standards of service.

· Operational Efficiency:

Overseeing daily operations, managing reservations, seating arrangements, and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the customer-facing areas.

· Cash Management:

Managing cash handling, balancing cash registers, and ensuring accurate financial records.

· Training and Development:

Training new staff, providing on-going support, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

· Problem Solving:

Addressing and resolving any issues that arise during service, such as customer complaints, staff conflicts, or operational problems.

· Safety and Security:

Ensuring that the front-of-house area is safe and secure for both staff and guests, adhering to health and safety regulations.

· Inventory Management:

Managing inventory of supplies and ensuring that the front-of-house area is stocked with necessary items.

· Marketing and Promotion:

Assisting with marketing and promotional efforts, such as managing online reservations, social media, and event planning.

Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Effectively interact with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
Strong leadership and organizational skills: Manage staff, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth operations.
Customer service skills: Provide exceptional service and resolve customer issues.
Problem-solving skills: Identify and resolve operational issues.
Knowledge of hospitality operations: Understand the nuances of the front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Proficiency with restaurant management systems: Such as point-of-sale (POS) systems, reservation systems, and online booking platforms.
Experience in a front-of-house management role: 3+ years preferred!
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks: Handle the demands of a busy front-of-house environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
