Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Dental Insurance/Treatment Plan Coordinator/Office Manager to join our friendly, family-like dental practice. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing front desk operations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth appointment scheduling, accurate documentation, and seamless communication between patients and the clinical team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive patient experience while supporting the overall success of our dental office.

Experience

Required at least 2 year of dental front desk, dental billing, treatment coordinator, or office manager experience
Demonstrated proficiency with dental office management software. Fuse is what we're currently using.
Strong knowledge of dental coding, insurance verification processes, preparing treatment plan with estimates, submitting claims, reading EOBs and health information management practices.
Strong knowledge of dental insurance plans, managed care systems, and verification procedures. Must be very detailed-orientated.
Experience working in a dental office environment with familiarity in dental terminology and CDT coding
Must be able to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 7:45 am - 4:30 to 5 pm; Thursday 8-4 pm
Make treatment plans reflecting patient's insurance coverage and estimates and strong communication skills to present treatment plans to patients
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple verifications, multitasks, follow-ups, and priorities simultaneously.
Positive attitude and team-player mindset.
Huge plus if you can also assist the doctor chairside when needed

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment that encourages trust and comfort.
Manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software such as Fuse.
Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks. Must be detailed orientated.
Collect patient information accurately through intake forms and update electronic health records.
Submitting Claims, posting EOBs, assisting with A/R, preparing/sending statements
Assisting patients with financial options such as Cherry and Care Credit
Confirm appointments, send reminders, and reschedule as necessary to maximize clinic efficiency.
Perform insurance verification procedures, including reviewing coverage details, ensuring proper documentation for billing purposes.
Maintain organized medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate care plans and coordinate patient care efficiently.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns promptly and professionally, fostering a positive experience at every visit.

Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
