Job Description

Pediatric Sensory Therapy is a small independent pediatric clinic that is looking for a Clinic Aide to join our team. We are not temp agency.

Job Duties

*Prepares materials and equipment for occupational therapists (OTs) and assistants (OTAs), and speech therapists (SLPs).

*Helps patients get to and from treatment rooms or activities.

*Supervises patients while clinicians have private conversations with families.

*Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, filing patient records and typing up handwritten plans of care and/or discharge summaries.

*Perform additional cleaning between clients.

*Perform cleaning duties to maintain sanitary environment.

· Experience working with children with a variety of conditions including SPD, Autism, DD, FAS, and co-morbid mental illnesses is required.

· Must have current CPR/First Aid/BBP training.

The ideal candidate is pusuing this job because they have a desire to beome an OT, COTA , SLP or SLPA, and will be looking for a long-term position during their process of finishing prerequisites and applying to graduate schools.

Personality: You must be fun, energetic, creative, patient, a great communicator, great collaborator, a team member and love working with children with special needs!

*This is a part-time position Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Hours may flux based on patient load.

* You will begin working with 1 of our therapists and moving on up to assisting all 3 of our therapists.

*Compensation is based on experience.

Job Type: LONG TERM (1.5-2 year+) position helping out with an existing caseload. Hours will begin with Monday afternoons, 8am-6:15pm Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Compensation: $17.00- $20.00 with a performance-based raise after 90 days.
