Full Job Description

Position Summary: Golden Eagle Construction is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and welcoming professional to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, this role combines exceptional customer service with essential administrative and basic accounting support to ensure smooth, efficient daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support & Reception

Front Desk Management: Manage the reception desk, maintaining a consistent, professional, and welcoming presence for clientele, guests, and vendors.
Communications: Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls efficiently while taking detailed, accurate messages.
Clerical Support: Assist with general business correspondence, email management, data entry, and document preparation.

Office Operations & Maintenance

Facilities Upkeep: Maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness, and organization of the reception area, conference rooms, and common office spaces.
Inventory Control: Monitor, order, and stock office and kitchen supply closets so materials are always readily available.
Mail & Errands: Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including occasional local travel to the post office or city offices for business filings and errands.

Accounting & Staff Support

Accounts Payable: Perform basic data entry for incoming vendor invoices, assist with processing payments, and help maintain accurate vendor records.
Accounts Receivable: Assist with generating and sending invoices, tracking client payments, and following up on outstanding accounts.
Team Coverage: Provide ad-hoc accounting support as requested and serve as backup coverage for core accounting duties during team absences to ensure seamless business continuity.

Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in an administrative, front desk, or clerical office support role.
Core Competencies: Excellent organizational, time-management, and interpersonal communication skills.
Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Accounting Skills: Good understanding of basic accounting principles; hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is highly preferred.
Adaptability: Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment and a willingness to accept new work requests as operational needs evolve.
Requirements: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional local errands/post office trips.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
