POSITION TITLE: Offline Assembly Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinate the associates and activities within their cell. Promote teamwork through words and deeds to all associates. Direct the workforce toward company goals. Troubleshoot tooling and processing issues as they arise.
Responsible for meeting all customer quality and quantity requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Responsible for the coaching and counseling of associates
· Administer daily overtime for lead person, and utility associate within their cell
· Maintain accurate attendance roster
· Monitor vacation requests and scheduling of vacation for lead person, utility associates, and operators to ensure adequate coverage
· Complete Training/Evaluation Forms for new associates and lead persons within the cell at 30 and 60-day intervals after associates are hired or start a new position
· Conduct Monthly Cycle Counts to maintain accurate inventory and escalates inventory shortages to the appropriate departments
· Responsible for support in achieving standard production requirements and rates
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain high level of 5S awareness and compliance within their cell
· Prepare and present material at meetings to management and/or all associates
· Investigate customer problems, determine initial countermeasure activities and prepare initial reports
· Fill out incident reports – investigate incident to determine why it happened and possible measures for prevention
· Other activities as assigned by Offline Assembly Assistant Manager or Manager
EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE:
· High School diploma or G.E.D
· Forklift License
· Above Average Working Knowledge of Plex
· Basic Computer Skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Requires ability to stand for full hour shift
· Willingness to work overtime during the week and weekends when needed
· High degree of attention and care required to prevent injury to self and others
· Satisfactory work records, including attendance
· Good Interpersonal and Communication skills (verbal and written) required
· High degree of attention to detail required
· Requires ability to bend, stoop, or kneel frequently
· Requires ability to work in a noisy industrial environment
· Requires mental alertness to procedures/changes and to call for assistance when needed
· Ability to manage time in order to work efficiently and effectively
· Manual dexterity required
· Ability to lift 50lbs frequently
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
