Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented M2M Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and managing data within various database systems and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software. Your technical proficiency and organizational skills will ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to efficient data operations, support customer service initiatives, and enhance overall productivity through precise data management. Enters data including lists of items, numbers, or other data into the Made2Manage (M2M system, and performs other clerical and administrative duties. Enters drawings into Sales Orders BOM. Enters Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and non-ECO release date and documentation. Prepares approved releases. Works with the Engineering Department to process orders. Must come from an engineering environment within a manufacturing company. Detail oriented.

Duties

Enter and update data accurately into multiple databases, including ERP systems, ensuring consistency and completeness.
Manage data entry tasks using Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Excel for data analysis and spreadsheets.
Maintain organized records of all data entries, ensuring easy retrieval and audit readiness.
Handle confidential information with discretion, adhering to privacy policies and security protocols.
Perform data validation checks to identify discrepancies or errors, correcting them promptly.
Assist in transcribing information from various sources into digital formats with high accuracy.
Support basic Excel data analysis tasks to identify trends or anomalies that aid decision-making processes.

Experience

Proven experience in data entry roles, preferably within office environments or administrative settings.
Strong familiarity with database systems and ERP software platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word processing, Excel spreadsheets, and productivity software.
Excellent typing skills, including 10-key typing speed and accuracy for efficient data input.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly with a high level of integrity.
Basic math skills for verifying numerical data entries and calculations.
Prior experience in customer service or office support roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
