Support & Maintenance

Document Control Clerk

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Is able to perform duties requiring moderate judgment to maintain engineering drawing files and to organize the processing of change orders.
Examines documents such as blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
Confers with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents.
Posts changes to computerized or manual control records, releases documents, and notifies affected departments.
Maintains related files and maintains lists regarding the processing of change orders as well as records of drawing removed from files.
Assists in maintaining website drawing database.
Prepares requests for reproduction of documents.
Maintains orderly engineering reference documents throughout department.
Scans the documents from the production department.
