Full Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Senior Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and developing relationships with current and prospective retailers, communities, and builders as directed by the Sales Manager. Additionally, the SAM will be responsible to learn and promote sales and marketing collateral, product specifications, and modifications on an ongoing basis.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilities of the SAM are as follows, but not limited to:

Serves as the primary sales representative for assigned region.
Answer questions, explain product, and provide necessary information to dealers.
Lead prospecting efforts for new opportunities.
Visit current and potential dealers to evaluate needs and to promote product.
Assist dealers in selecting products based on needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
Review all orders for accuracy, pricing, and prepare for schedule.
Assist retailers with marketing materials and encourage the use of web based collateral.
Assists with effective advertising campaigns, promotional activities, open houses, financing information, and sales colleges.
Ensure all special prints for production and various foundation prints for dealers are completed.
Must communicate regularly with and work directly with production on all sales related questions and issues with a sense of urgency to ensure that homes are built correctly.
Provide input about trends and changes taking place within the SAM’s territory and make recommendations towards improving the company’s relationship with dealers.
Follow all company policy including but not limited to product pricing, shipment requirements, payment terms, change orders, product modifications, engineering fees and specials.
Must maintain the stringent cost controls on their travel and all other expenses.
Must always present themselves in a professional and cordial manner, monitoring dress, language, conduct, ethics, and activity codes in and outside of the office in order to represent Commodore Homes in a professional manner at all times.
Required to become a member of associations as required.
Required to attend national and regional events, association meetings, trainings, etc., as required.
Required to travel for prospecting and account maintenance.
Provide sales training to Junior Account Managers and retail sales persons as necessary.

OTHER SKILLS

Excellent communication skills.
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn new software or other systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Organizational and administrative skills.
Sound judgement.

SALARY

Base salary commensurate with experience, plus commission pay.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
