Front Desk Customer Service Associate for Gateway Lodge – Cooksburg, PA

We are looking for a friendly face at Front desk to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their stay. Working at Front Desk will include the following responsibilities: registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.

Responsibilities of our Front Desk Customer Service Associate

· Perform all check-in and check-out tasks

· Manage online and phone reservations providing prompt customer service.

· Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data

· Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)

· Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms. Maintain a friendly presence at Front Desk. Customer Service is your top priority.

· Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities

· Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner

· Communicate with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs

· Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate

· Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

Skills of our Front Desk Customer Service Associate

· Work experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role

· Experience with hotel reservations software

· Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking.com and TripAdvisor

· Customer service attitude

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Degree in hotel management is a plus

We are a Farm-to-Forest Restaurant with an emphasis on sourcing locally, organically and sustainably. Our focus is on creating a memorable dining experience, with food simply prepared, lightly seasoned, responsive to dietary needs, and leaving guests full and satisfied because of the quality of their meal and not the quantity. All preparations are made on site.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
