We are seeking a UI/UX + Graphic Designer with expertise in digital design to join our creative team. User Interface/ User Experience/ (UI/UX) Designer Minimum Qualifications:
· Associate’s degree in art, design, or multimedia discipline.
· Minimum of two years of experience in providing graphic art support for computer-based products.
· Required experience with the use of creative software such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, JavaScript, InDesign, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), and 3D production software
· Desired experience with software: Captivate, Premiere, and Animate
· Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)
· U.S. Citizenship
· Able to pass investigation for US Government SECRET Clearance (Active Secret clearance desired)
User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) Designer :
You will assist and support users with using computers, print, pencil, pen, paint, film, digital photography and video, illustrations, animations, sounds, and any number of such media to produce graphics and sound to communicate ideas and thoughts.
You will create handmade and computer-generated photo-realistic or illustrated abstract works or images of objects, people, nature, topography, and events. You, the UI/UX designer, will design an overall layout of publications and electronic visual presentations.
You will use computer software, computer design techniques, and computer-generated media to design new images and illustrations. You will identify sensory stimulus requirements and media features. You will use a media selection procedure that demonstrates the possibilities and advantages of using alternative media. You select media based on specific media attributes to make appropriate choices that lead to practical resource decisions.
You will collaborate closely with the instructional development team to design instructional media. Your responsibilities will include creating storyboards, developing wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions to produce computer-based training, films, and videos. You will also work with in-house and external teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality design solutions that enhance user experience. Additionally, you will use computer-aided design systems and artistic techniques to create animations.
You will instruct instructors and students on how to use training materials and equipment. You will plan, oversee, and produce the following:
· Two and three-dimensional display materials (outlines, charts, diagrams, articles, worksheets, flip charts, graphs, photographs, drawings, checklists, labeled illustrations, CD-ROM, Photo CD)
· Audio recordings
· Projected still pictures (color and black and white overhead transparencies)
· Computer-generated images, animation, slides, filmstrips, moving pictures, and videotapes.
· Interactive technologies (computer-based training, interactive courseware, distance learning and remote training support materials, interactive electronic technical manuals, electronic teaching or instruction tools, and electronic performance support systems).
· Instructional animations of components, procedures, and operational checks.
