Overview of the role

This role is responsible for providing timely and accurate analytical support for production.
This Temporary position will last approximately 8 weeks, if the position is extended, the work schedule can be modified for enrolled students.
The schedule will be 8am – 12pm, 4 days a week including every weekend.
The hourly rate: $23.07/hr.

Key Accountabilities

Perform basic calculations of serial dilutions and adjusting sample concentrations within a measurable range.
Process and interpret data outputs from instrumentation, ensuring compliance with accuracy and precision requirements.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and written instructions.
Ability to work independently, under minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.

Qualifications

Laboratory Experience: Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related coursework with Hands-on experience in wet chemistry techniques and laboratory sample preparation.
Basic understanding of analytical chemistry principles including solution preparation, concentration calculations, and instrumental sample analysis.
Understanding of quality control protocols, including instrument calibration.
Compliance with safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and awareness of hazardous materials.
