We’re currently hiring a full-time Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) to provide virtual outpatient therapy for adult patients through one of our trusted Kansas-based partners. This role requires candidates to either hold an active Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC) license in Kansas or be eligible and willing to obtain LCAC licensure with support from Iris Telehealth.
What You'll Do
As part of a collaborative, well-supported care team, you'll:
- Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and establish initial treatment plans.
- Provide both individual and family therapy to patients (primarily ages 18+, but includes lifespan), with diagnoses including general mental health SMI
- Collaborate with a wide network of support, including psychiatry, crisis services, peer support, case managers, and more.
More About the Role
- Setting: 100% Remote | outpatient clinic based out of Kansas
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hrs/wk, with 3 days being after 5pm CST required
- Appointments: 60-90 minutes for initial evaluations, 30-60 minutes for follow-up appointments
- Administrative time: 1-2 hours per week
- Caseload: 6-8 clients scheduled per day

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in providing therapy services as an independently licensed Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW)
- Active Kansa LSCSW license required
- Active Kansas Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC) license OR eligibility and willingness to obtain LCAC licensure required
- Experience working with patients with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health and substance use needs preferred
- Full-time availability (40 hours per week) during CST hours
- Experience and comfort treating patients across varying acuity levels
- Telehealth experience preferred (familiarity with SmartCare is a plus!)
- Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory
