Full Job Description

SUMMARY

Seeking A Well Rounded Machinist / Tool & Die Maker with experience in performing die building and preservation in a Full-Time position in a stamping production facility/machine shop environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Machinist / Tool & Die maker will be responsible for joining a small team that is responsible for crafting and performing alterations of dies and fixtures to prints, as well as sharpening and maintaining them. Doing so by using the provided equipment, machines, and tool room.

Understanding and knowledge of work piece position, fixtures, work piece setup, dial indicators, measuring and marking, chucks, vises, clamps, feed rate, cutting speed, cutting tools, fitting & assembling tool and die parts.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Needed

- Machinist: 2-5 years (minimum)

- Tool & Die Maker: 2-5 years (preferred)

- Vocational / Tech School for Tool & Die or Machinist

- Reading blueprints (Required)

- Salary is commensurate with experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Ability to lift 40-50 pounds.

- Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to standing, bending over, sitting, for extended periods of time.

MUST BE A UNITED STATES CITIZEN
