Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for garment construction and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality finishes on all projects. This role involves working with various fabrics and materials to create, alter, and repair garments while providing excellent customer service in a fashion retail environment.

Duties

Operate sewing machines and other equipment to sew garments according to specifications.
Perform alterations on existing garments, ensuring proper fit and finish.
Construct new garments from patterns or sketches, adhering to design specifications.
Maintain an organized workspace, keeping tools and materials in good condition.
Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide recommendations for alterations or custom designs.
Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during garment construction.
Stay updated on current fashion trends and techniques in garment construction.

Qualifications

Proficiency in operating sewing machines and understanding garment construction techniques.
Previous experience in fashion retail or customer service is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and adjustments.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
A passion for fashion and a willingness to learn new techniques in sewing and garment design.
