Job Summary/Basic Function

A part-time Hourly administrative or assistant-level position that supports the daily
operations of real property acquisitions for Weber State University real property group
under the direction of Campus Planning and Construction Director.

Core Responsibilities
Part-time roles will focus on three main areas: administration, client relations, and
property oversight.

Administrative Support: Processing new property listings, managing Leases and Licenses. Review and recommend actions on transactional documents, and proofreading document materials for Director and VP.
Property and Maintenance Coordination: Walking properties to ensure curb appeal, coordinating with vendors for renewals of Licenses or leases, and performing negotiations for the University working closely with WSU legal team.
Resident and Client Interaction: Greeting prospective tenants, answering inquiries via phone/email, and mediating between property WSU and tenants.
Financial Tasks: Managing and Lease payments, handling security deposits, and maintaining financial records or reports for the properties.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years in Real Estate and Leases
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email) and specialized property management documentation.
Licensing: Licensed Real Estate Agent. Valid Utah Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications

Communication: Strong interpersonal and phone skills are critical for handling client relationships and potential leads.
