Full Job Description

Our well-established law firm in Ogden, Utah is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing team. We are a seven-attorney firm with more work than we can currently handle, and we are looking for the right candidate to grow with us. About the Position

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of legal experience, with family law experience or the desire to practice in family law strongly preferred. We are looking for an attorney who is driven, entrepreneurial, and interested in developing and managing their own client base, rather than working solely on other attorneys’ matters. This position is best suited for someone who wants autonomy, professional growth, and the opportunity to build a long-term practice within a supportive firm environment.

Compensation

Compensation is based on a percentage of the attorney’s fee collections. Our compensation structure rewards initiative and strong client service; typical Associate Attorneys earn over $100,000 in their first year with the firm and possibly more if the Associate Attorney is able to bring any clients with them.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed (or eligible for admission) to practice law in Utah
Minimum one year of legal experience
Experience in family law preferred
Strong work ethic and self-motivation
Ability to build and maintain client relationships
Excellent communication, legal research, and writing skills
