Location: Clearwater, FL (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $32.00/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Test Technician to join a leading aerospace manufacturing team in Clearwater, FL. In this role, you will perform operational testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and validation of inertial navigation products and other aerospace electronic systems. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure products meet quality, performance, and safety standards while supporting production schedules.

This position is ideal for technicians with strong electronics troubleshooting experience and the ability to diagnose issues down to the component level.

Key Responsibilities

Perform setup, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of aerospace electronic assemblies and systems.
Conduct operational and production testing on inertial navigation products.
Troubleshoot electronic systems at both the system and component level.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Verify compliance with engineering specifications and testing procedures.
Support Failure Review Board (FRB) investigations by collecting and documenting technical data.
Assemble, qualify, troubleshoot, and repair test stations.
Assist with the setup and maintenance of specialized test equipment.
Maintain laboratory equipment inventory and recommend process improvements.
Document test procedures, results, and findings accurately.
Provide technical guidance to junior technicians as needed.
Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve product quality.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Engineering Technician, Electronics Technician, Test Technician, or similar role.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on electronics experience.
Minimum 2 years of electronic test experience.
Experience reading and following standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical procedures, or work instructions.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting skills at both the system and component level.
Experience assembling, qualifying, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic test stations.
Familiarity with electronic test equipment and software such as CIRTS, DEWESOFT, or similar platforms.
Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and manufacturing systems).

Preferred Qualifications

Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of aerospace testing methodologies and standards.

Pay: $31.00 - $32.00 per hour
