Full Job Description

HRIS & Payroll Manager

St. Petersburg, FL (Hybrid)

We’re looking for a hands-on HRIS & Payroll Manager to join our team and play a key role in owning HR systems and supporting payroll operations across a multi-entity environment.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a systems-focused position, enjoys improving processes, and has a strong foundation in payroll, HRIS, and compliance.

About the Role

Lead HRIS operations, including system configuration, optimization, and integrations (ADP Workforce Now)
Serve as the primary administrator for HR systems (HRIS, timekeeping, reporting)
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing across 13 payrolls and 5 EINs
Partner with HR, Finance, Tax, and IT to improve workflows and data integrity
Support payroll accounting, including GL, reconciliations, and reporting
Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll tax regulations and SOX controls
Drive process improvements and system enhancements

What We’re Looking For

7+ years of experience in payroll and/or HRIS in a multi-state, multi-entity environment
Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now (or similar HRIS/payroll systems)
Hands-on experience with payroll processing and system administration
Solid understanding of payroll tax compliance and multi-state regulations
Experience with payroll accounting (journal entries, reconciliations, month-end)
Proven ability to improve systems, reporting, and processes
Experience providing team oversight or mentorship (1 direct report)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (Accounting preferred)
CPP preferred
