Full Job Description

Position Overview

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This role focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, and ensuring quality standards for printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies.

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy hands-on problem solving, process improvement, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies and equipment
Design efficient workflows, including machine layout, material handling, and production sequencing
Support fabrication and assembly processes to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency
Analyze production performance and implement corrective actions to resolve process or equipment issues
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product designs align with manufacturing capabilities
Incorporate inspection and testing requirements into production plans
Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor and improve manufacturing processes
Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (accredited program required)
2–4 years of manufacturing engineering experience
Hands-on experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBs)
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
