Event Assistant – Sales & Promotions
Tampa, FL | Full-Time | Weekly Pay | Immediate Start

Turn Your People Skills Into Practical Experience

If you enjoy meeting new people, working as part of a team, and learning through hands-on experience, MGT is growing its Tampa team and looking for motivated individuals to join its live events and promotional sales campaigns.

This is an entry-level, face-to-face opportunity where you'll represent brands at events, pop-ups, and promotional campaigns throughout Tampa.

You'll interact directly with customers, introduce products and offers, build relationships, complete customer sign-ups, and contribute toward campaign sales targets.

Previous sales or marketing experience isn't required. Full training is provided from day one, making this an accessible opportunity for recent graduates, people finishing school, career changers, and candidates with transferable customer-facing skills.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Event Assistant, you'll work alongside MGT's event-based team to connect brands directly with customers through live promotional campaigns.

Your responsibilities will include:

Representing brands at events, pop-ups, and promotional campaigns across Tampa
Approaching customers and starting professional face-to-face conversations
Using communication and interpersonal skills to build customer rapport
Creating positive and memorable customer experiences
Learning relevant product information and communicating offers clearly
Demonstrating products and answering customer questions confidently
Developing customer engagement and relationship-building skills
Closing sales and completing customer sign-ups
Working toward daily and weekly sales targets alongside your team
Supporting brand awareness through live marketing campaigns

This is a field-based rather than desk-based opportunity. You'll spend your working day interacting with different people and developing practical experience through real customer conversations.

Experience from other customer-facing, team-based, or fast-paced environments can provide useful transferable skills for the position.
