Full Job Description

Your Job

Molex is seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker to support our high-speed progressive stamping operations in St. Petersburg, FL . In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and repairing tooling to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. If you enjoy hands-on problem solving in a precision manufacturing environment, this is an opportunity to grow your expertise while making a direct impact on production performance.

Our Team

You will be part of a skilled tool room team that supports a fast-paced stamping operation focused on precision, continuous improvement, and collaboration. Our team works closely with production and engineering to maintain tooling performance and drive operational success.

What You Will Do

Inspect and sharpen tooling; perform preventative maintenance
Complete tool changeovers for similar production parts
Repair tooling and reverse engineer components to create prints as needed
Operate standard tool room equipment, with a focus on grinding and precision form grinding
Perform press setups and changeovers as needed, including pulling, setting, and troubleshooting dies on the production floor
Work overtime as required

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Experience with progressive stamping dies
Experience operating presses at speeds up to 1200 SPM
Troubleshooting experience in a production environment
Computer experience (e.g., time logging, accessing part prints, etc.)

What Will Put You Ahead

Stamping thin gage , non-ferrous materials and Bruderer p unch p resses
Working with carbide , guided strippers and 0.0001" tolerance s
Experience with vision and in-line measurement systems
