Overview

Join our dynamic finance team as an Accounting Clerk and become a vital contributor to our organization’s financial health! In this energetic role, you will handle essential accounting functions with precision and enthusiasm, supporting our commitment to transparency and accuracy. Your expertise in financial software, data entry, and accounting principles will help ensure smooth operations across various financial processes. We’re looking for a motivated professional eager to grow their accounting skills in a fast-paced environment that values attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.

Duties

Perform data entry and maintain accurate records within multiple accounting systems such as Paychex, Concur, Oracle NetSuite, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently, ensuring timely invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliation and financial statement preparation.
Prepare and process expense reports.
Answer vendor inquiries
Handle confidential financial information with the utmost discretion while supporting internal audits and external reporting requirements.
Perform filing, scanning, and copying duties

Experience

Proven accounting or finance experience with familiarity in corporate accounting practices and governmental accounting standards.
Strong understanding of accounting concepts including debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet management.
Demonstrated ability to perform data entry accurately with high numeracy skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills combined with customer service orientation to support internal teams and external vendors effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—particularly Excel—for data analysis and report generation is essential.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
