Manages all functions of the Law Library Access and Technical Services Department. Participates in budget development, oversees invoicing and fund accounting, and prepares reports on department activities. Provides oversight for bibliographic and collection maintenance and quality control functions. Manages the Special Collections room and digital content collections. Supervises assigned staff. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Library Science (MLS) from an ALA accredited school. Five years professional experience. Solid knowledge of and/or experience in technical services or collection management operations in an academic, research, law or other special library. Experience with library automation systems. Experience and training in OCLC copy and original cataloging.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a Law Library technical services department. Experience with acquisitions, serials, cataloging and reports function of Library Automation Systems. Experience managing the receipt, cataloging and maintenance of legal materials. Three years supervisory experience.

- Knowledge of library and educational technology.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
