Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Buyer to join our marketing team, responsible for sourcing and purchasing advertising space across various digital and traditional media channels. As a key player in our media buying and planning efforts, you will manage media campaigns, negotiate with vendors, and optimize ad delivery systems to maximize campaign performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence brand visibility through strategic media investments, leveraging your expertise in digital marketing analytics, market research, and media performance analysis. Your proactive approach will drive efficient budget management and ensure the successful execution of paid advertising campaigns across social media platforms, search engines, and print outlets.

Duties

Develop comprehensive media buying strategies aligned with marketing campaign goals, focusing on social media advertising campaigns, paid search marketing, and programmatic advertising media campaign management.
Conduct market research to identify optimal advertising opportunities using tools like Nielsen ratings and web analytics reporting to inform purchasing decisions.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with media vendors to secure the best placements and rates for digital marketing budget management.
Manage online advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook Advertising), and other ad delivery systems while ensuring accurate ad delivery system support.
Monitor and analyze media performance analytics to optimize campaign effectiveness; adjust strategies based on quantitative analysis and marketing analytics insights.
Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling advertising sales pitches for social media marketing initiatives.
Maintain detailed spreadsheets tracking campaign budgets, media buying schedules, and performance metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.
Communicate regularly with clients or internal stakeholders regarding campaign progress, market insights, and media planning updates.

Requirements

Proven experience in media buying, planning, or digital marketing agency roles with a focus on online advertising campaigns.
Strong understanding of performance marketing strategies, including paid advertising campaign management across multiple platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and programmatic systems.
Proficiency in spreadsheets, web analytics reporting tools, and digital marketing analytics platforms for data-driven decision-making.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms with media vendors.
Knowledge of ad delivery systems (technically supported) to troubleshoot issues related to ad placement or delivery failures.
Experience managing marketing campaign budgets efficiently while maximizing ROI through strategic media planning.
Familiarity with Nielsen ratings or similar audience measurement tools for market research purposes.
Strong communication skills for client interaction and cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to adapt quickly to evolving digital marketing trends including social media advertising strategies and print advertising options.
