Systems Project Coordinator

$50,000–$65,000 per year, based on experience
Full-time | Hybrid | Cleveland, OH (1 day/week in office)

At United Church Insurance Association (Insurance Board), we’re a mission-driven nonprofit serving 4,400+ churches and faith-based organizations nationwide with insurance, risk management, and education.

We’re looking for a Systems Project Coordinator to work alongside our Project Manager supporting the industry-specific systems and technology we use to manage our insurance operations. You’ll help test system changes, support internal users, coordinate projects, and help ensure information and processes flow smoothly between our core insurance platforms and everyday business applications.

This isn't an IT support role, and you don't need to be a programmer. We’re looking for someone who is organized, comfortable learning software, interested in how systems and business processes work together, and genuinely enjoys solving problems.

You’ll learn how the pieces fit together.
You’ll get hands-on experience with our core insurance systems and how they support underwriting, claims, policy processing, and everyday business operations. You’ll participate in projects and system enhancements while working with people throughout the organization.

Your curiosity matters.
When something isn't working quite right, we want someone who wants to understand why. You'll test changes, troubleshoot routine issues, track problems through resolution, and learn how our systems and business processes connect.

Your work will be visible.
We're a small organization, so you won't disappear into a huge project team. You'll work directly with our Project Manager and internal users, and the work you do will have a noticeable impact.

What You’ll Do

Test changes and enhancements to our insurance systems before and after deployment
Help internal users with routine system questions and troubleshoot functionality issues
Log, track, and manage system tickets and support requests through resolution
Assist with project coordination, data entry, documentation, and operational tasks
Work closely with the Project Manager to support system enhancements and organizational projects
Help keep projects, requests, and details organized and moving forward

What We’re Looking For

Required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable using software and learning new systems
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities reliably
Good written and verbal communication skills
A problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn

Preferred

Experience in project coordination, administrative support, operations, or a similar role
Familiarity with insurance management systems or SaaS platforms
Basic knowledge of insurance operations such as underwriting, claims, or policy processing
Experience with QA testing, software releases, or user support
Experience with platforms such as Origami, ImageRight, or similar systems
