Overview
Histotechnologist — Histology specialty in Cleveland, OH, United States. Start date: 08/17/2026. Duration: 4 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,233–$1,313 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm. Assignment type: Travel - Temporary; work setting: clinical histology laboratory supporting surgical pathology.

Travel assignment in a high-volume clinical histology laboratory

- Assignment type: Travel - Temporary

Responsibilities

Perform tissue cutting and embedding for downstream histology processing
Process tissue samples, prepare slides, and conduct microtomy as required
Stain, mount, and label slides accurately for microscopic examination
Adhere to quality control, documentation, and turnaround time standards
Maintain instruments and supplies, monitor reagent levels, and assist with lab housekeeping
Follow safety, regulatory, and accreditation guidelines relevant to histology operations

Requirements

HT (ASCP) certified histotechnologist required prior to start
Experience in a high-volume histology lab
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical histology environment
Focus on accurate labeling, quality control, and timely processing
