Build More Than Pipe. Build Your Career.

Emmco has been designing, fabricating, and installing hydraulic piping systems for heavy industry for decades. We work with steel mills, rubber manufacturers, aerospace companies, and other industrial facilities throughout northeast Ohio and beyond. We are looking for an experienced Industrial Pipe Fitter who takes pride in quality work and enjoys solving problems. This is a hands-on position that includes both shop fabrication and field installation. Overnight travel is a MUST. If you are looking for repetitive production welding, this is not the job for you.

What You will Do: Install hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, process water, tubing, hose, and piping systems. Fabricate and install carbon steel and stainless steel pipe and tubing. Read and interpret blueprints, hydraulic schematics, P&IDs, and isometric drawings. Build piping assemblies in the shop and install them at customer facilities. Perform equipment installations, plant shutdown work, repairs, and system modifications. Work with Tube-Mac® systems, bent tubing, bent and welded pipe, hose assemblies, and hydraulic components. Troubleshoot hydraulic piping systems and help identify solutions in the field. Follow company and customer safety procedures on every job.

What We are Looking For: Experience as an industrial pipe fitter or similar . Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Experience working in heavy industrial environments. Valid driver’s license. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in industrial settings. Welding experience necessary. Experience with two or more of the following: GTAW (TIG) SMAW (Stick) GMAW (MIG) FCAW (Flux Core) on steel. Experience welding stainless steel is preferred. Pipe welding experience is a plus. Applicant needs to be fluent in basic trade math and capable of working with fractions and maintaining tolerances down to 1/16".

Preferred Experience: Experience with any of the following is beneficial: Hydraulic piping systems, Tube-Mac® installation, hydraulic power units, steel mills, rubber manufacturing, aerospace manufacturing, industrial maintenance, forklifts, overhead cranes, OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 ASME standards.

Travel: This position includes a combination of shop work and field installation. Some overnight travel will be required depending on project needs. Company-paid travel when applicable.
