Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday
- 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Overtime available but optional.
- Pay $22.00-$26.00 per hour - Based on experience.
What You'll Do
Every day is different. You'll work with another technician installing and servicing premium fireplaces, grills, and outdoor living products in customers' homes.
Responsibilities include:
- Installing fireplace doors
- Installing gas log sets
- Installing chimney liners
- Working safely on roofs and ladders when required
- Assembling and delivering BBQ grills and patio furniture
- Diagnosing basic product issues
- Loading and unloading materials
- Maintaining company vehicles and equipment
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Collecting payment when work is completed
A Typical Day
Your day begins at our showroom at 9:00 AM.
You'll review your schedule, load the company van with the materials needed for the day's jobs, and complete a quick vehicle inspection.
Before each appointment, you'll call the customer to let them know you're on the way.
Once on site, you'll professionally greet the customer, protect their home using drop cloths and boot covers, and complete the installation or service work safely and efficiently.
When the work is complete, you'll answer any customer questions, collect payment when necessary, and head to your next appointment.
At the end of the day, you'll return to the store, restock the vehicle, clean up, and head home around 5:00 PM.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working on rooftops
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
- Able to lift 75+ pounds with assistance
- Mechanically inclined
- Professional when interacting with customers
- Detail-oriented
- Willing to learn new skills
- A team player with a positive attitude
Experience in fireplaces or chimney work is helpful but not required. We provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening (including THC)
- Reliable transportation to work
- Ability to work safely at heights
