Job Summary/Purpose: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating all maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment, facilities, grounds, and support systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This position supervises maintenance personnel, coordinates preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance activities, and partners with production by maximizing equipment reliability and minimizing downtime. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for implementing and sustaining standardized maintenance processes, implementing, monitoring and improving maintenance KPIs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that improve equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness. Working closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional teams, this role promotes operational discipline, accountability, and a proactive maintenance culture.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
· Equipment Maintenance
o Direct and oversee the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
o Plan, coordinate, and sustain preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
o Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
o Coordinate emergency repairs to restore equipment safely and efficiently.
o Monitor equipment condition and identify opportunities to improve reliability and performance.
o Maintain accurate equipment maintenance records, work orders, and equipment history.
o Coordinate critical spare parts inventory and availability to support equipment reliability and minimize production downtime.
· Manufacturing Equipment and Utilities Systems
o Oversee the maintenance and support of manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
o Coordinate inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement activities for production equipment and facility utility systems.
o Ensure equipment and utility systems are maintained in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and established maintenance standards.
o Evaluate equipment and utility performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and minimize downtime.

o MIG welding equipment and welding power sources
o Boschert press brake
o Punch presses
o Vertical and horizontal saws
o Forklifts, tow motors, and other material handling equipment
o Air compressors and compressed air distribution systems
o Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
o Electrical distribution and control systems
o HVAC systems
o Water and natural gas systems
o Building systems and facility infrastructure
· Facility & Building Maintenance
o Oversee the maintenance and repair of the manufacturing facility, warehouse, offices, grounds, and building infrastructure.
o Coordinate building repairs, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, roofing, and general facility maintenance.
o Manage exterior property maintenance, including landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal.
o Coordinate and supervise outside contractors and service providers.
o Ensure facilities are maintained in a safe, clean, and operational condition.
· Leadership & Supervision
o Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team.
o Assign and prioritize daily maintenance work to support production requirements.
o Provide training, coaching, and guidance to maintenance employees.
o Monitor work quality and ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
o Ensure maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance activities, and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
o Support employee accountability by addressing performance, attendance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
o Maintain effective communication with Production, Engineering, and other departments to support daily operations.
o Conduct regular maintenance team meetings to communicate priorities, review performance, and address operational issues.
· Continuous Improvement
o Implement and sustain standardized maintenance procedures, work instructions, and best practices.
o Identify and implement improvements to increase equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
o Improve maintenance processes to increase efficiency and equipment uptime.
o Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
o Develop, monitor, and improve maintenance KPIs to measure departmental performance.
o Recommend improvements to preventive, predictive, and autonomous maintenance programs based on equipment performance and maintenance data.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
· High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or lead maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
- Experience planning, coordinating, and executing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Experience applying safe maintenance practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or related field.
- Previous experience in metal fabrication, welding, wire products, or manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting Autonomous Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
- Forklift certification or experience managing material handling equipment maintenance.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) experience.
- Experience supervising preventive maintenance activities and coordinating maintenance priorities in a manufacturing environment.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
· Work performed in both office and manufacturing environments.
- Frequent exposure to noise, moving machinery, dust, welding fumes, and varying temperatures.
- Regular walking throughout manufacturing and warehouse facilities.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to respond to equipment breakdowns and maintenance emergencies as business needs require.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules as needed to support maintenance activities and business requirements.
- Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Travel Requirements:
· Regular travel between the company's primary manufacturing facility and secondary warehouse location.
- Occasional local travel for training, vendor visits, equipment purchases, or contractor management.
- Travel is expected to be less than 10%.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
