Job Title:

Banquet and Events Manager

Department:

Food and Beverage

Reports to:

Director of Catering & Special Events

The Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic and service-driven Banquet & Events Manager to join our Food & Beverage leadership team. This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional dining and event experiences for our members and their guests.

From elegant member dinners to large club events and private celebrations, you will help ensure every event is executed with the highest level of hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail.

If you enjoy leading teams, creating memorable experiences, and working in a fast-paced private club environment, we would love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise banquet and service staff to ensure exceptional member service
Oversee event execution and dining service to maintain the Club’s high standards
Coordinate with culinary and management teams to ensure seamless events
Assist members in planning private events, meetings, and celebrations
Prepare and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event logistics
Help recruit, train, and mentor service staff
Monitor service quality, inventory, and operational efficiency
Maintain a strong presence on the floor and build positive relationships with members

Qualifications

Supervisory experience in fine dining, upscale restaurant, or private club operations is preferred, private club experience a plus
4- year hospitality Degree or equivalent preferred
This position requires initiative, creativity, and self-motivation as well as discipline
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Professional appearance and demeanor and commitment to outstanding service

Schedule & Requirements

Full-time position with flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Maintain high visibility throughout the Club and exhibits a drive to provide an exceptional member experience
Ability to adapt to changing technologies that would improve work efficiency, member service, and staff engagement
Experience with POS systems and basic computer programs preferred
Maintain active involvement in professional organizations and continuing education classes
