True Capital Claims is a specialized insurance claims advisory firm dedicated to serving large-scale real estate owners, operators, and institutional investors. We focus on managing complex property losses including natural catastrophes, weather-related events, and construction claims, ensuring accurate claims assessment and optimal resolution for full contractual value. Operating at the intersection of claims advocacy, data intelligence, and capital protection, we deliver institutional-grade representation with senior-level oversight. Our client base includes REITs, private equity real estate funds, family offices, developers, and other major commercial property owners. True Capital Claims is committed to protecting assets, preserving financial stability, and aligning with our clients’ long-term interests.

Role Description

True Capital Claims is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Claims Manager to oversee large commercial property insurance claims from assignment through settlement.

This is not a sales position.

This is primarily an on-site position based in our North Ridgeville, Ohio office. Employees may work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays after completing training and based on business needs.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for our insureds, maintain exceptional client relationships, coordinate experts and contractors, communicate with insurance carriers, review and develop estimates, and ensure every claim progresses efficiently.

The ideal candidate has experience handling complex commercial property losses and understands how to advocate for policyholders while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Claims Handling and Claims Management processes
Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate and quantify claims accurately
Experience estimating and adjusting large loss claims ranging from $1MM-$50MM.
Excellent Communication skills, including stakeholder engagement and report preparation
Deep understanding of Insurance Claims processes and strategies
Proven leadership and decision-making abilities within the insurance or real estate sectors
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, on-site environment
Experience with complex, high-severity property claims is highly desirable
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Legal Studies, or a related field
Certifications such as IICRC, HAAG, or Xactimate Certification
Commercial property claims experience is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
