Full Job Description

Mold Maker/Machinist

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot injection molding and thermoforming molds to ensure optimal production performance.
Operate and maintain tool room equipment, including mills, surface grinders, EDM machines, and lathes.
Inspect and evaluate molding stacks to identify service needs and perform necessary repairs.
Read and interpret engineering drawings while maintaining high standards of quality and precision.

Required Skills & Experience

Previous experience repairing and maintaining injection molding molds in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
Ability to operate manual tool room equipment, including mills, lathes, surface grinders, and EDM machines.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with solid math fundamentals.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience operating or programming CNC machining equipment.
Experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for inspection and quality verification.

Compensation & Benefits

$22.00-$35.00 per hour, based on experience
