Production Machine Operator

Main Responsibilities

· Set up and adjust machines for each production run, ensuring proper settings for cycle times.

· Select from pre-set programs to operate machines.

· Operate machines to produce components according to established specifications and quality standards.

· Assemble products to the work instructions provided via ISO 9001 certification.

· Conduct regular quality checks on produced components to ensure they meet specified criteria; identify and address any defects or issues promptly.

· Optimize machine output by loading the next product prior to mold cycle completion.

· Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment; report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.

· Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and any issues encountered during the manufacturing process.

· Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality control staff, to ensure seamless production processes and troubleshooting.

Requirements

· High School diploma or equivalent required.

· Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· ~3-5 years prior experience as a machinist required on CNC mills and lathes.

· Technical knowledge of machines and related equipment.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

· Ability to install tools into machine and make tooling insert changes, as needed.

· Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

· Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

Work Location

This in-person position will work out of the Victor, NY facility.

Salary Range:

$22 - $25 / hour
