Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support for personal injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring smooth case management and effective client communication. Your proactive approach and legal expertise will help drive successful outcomes for our clients while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills in legal research, document management, and litigation support will be highly valued.

Duties

Assist attorneys with case preparation by gathering and organizing evidence, medical records, and relevant documentation for personal injury claims
Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies and ensure compliance with procedural law requirements
Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence with clients and opposing counsel
Manage case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw to ensure accurate record-keeping and easy retrieval of case information
Coordinate client interviews, witness statements, and expert consultations to build strong case narratives
Monitor case deadlines and court filings to ensure timely submission of documents in accordance with local court rules
Support litigation activities including document review, trial preparation, and civil litigation procedures while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information

Qualifications

3+ experience as a paralegal supporting personal injury law cases
Strong knowledge of procedural law, legal research methods, and case management practices
Proficiency in legal software such as Cloudlex and other document review platforms
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and interdepartmental collaboration
Familiarity with legal drafting, proofreading, and document management standard
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating strong attention to detail in all tasks
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for daily administrative tasks and legal support functions
