The Role: Front of House Manager
As Front of House Manager ‚the **Mayor of the City**, you'll be the face, the heartbeat, and the standard-bearer for The Pearl's entire guest and teammate experience. You'll lead a team, shape a culture, and help write the next chapter of Aspire's story. About Aspire
Aspire is a 370-acre nonprofit recreation park in Clinton, TN, built on a 40-year vision to create one of the most innovative private parks in the country. Since opening in October 2024, Aspire has become a destination for hiking, biking, events, and unforgettable dining at our signature restaurant, **The Pearl at Aspire** featuring indoor dining, a garden patio overlooking the Wildflower Meadow, and two rooftop bars.
We're not just building a restaurant. We're building a culture ‚one where every teammate gains real skills, real leadership experience, and a real stake in something bigger than a typical restaurant job. Aspire was founded on the belief that people should leave better than they arrived, and as our Front of House Manager, you'll be the one making that happen every single shift.
What you'll own:
- Lead and develop your people - select, train, coach, and motivate teammates, supervisors, and assistant managers so every shift reflects Aspire's cultural and core standards
- Own the floor‚ be visible, be present, build relationships with guests and regulars, and turn complaints into loyalty
- Champion the experience - ensure expert knowledge of every dish, ingredient, wine, and spirit so your team can deliver an elevated, attentive dining experience for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events
- Partner with culinary - work hand-in-hand with the Executive Chef to shape menus and wine lists that balance quality and value
- Drive the business manage labor, scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and cash control like an owner would
- Collaborate across departments - attend operational meetings and keep The Pearl running in lockstep with the rest of Aspire
- Protect the house - monitor facility and equipment conditions and flag what needs attention before it becomes a problem
Schedule: This role requires flexibility ‚mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Great hospitality doesn't run 9-to-5, and neither do our leaders.
What You Bring
- 4+ years of management experience in high-quality food & beverage / fine dining
- A college degree in hospitality, hotel, or restaurant management preferred (equivalent experience welcomed)
- Strong working knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor management, and merchandising
- Comfort with restaurant POS and computer systems
- A leadership style rooted in culture-building, not just task management
- A forward-thinking mindset, you see where hospitality is headed, and you want to help lead it there
